You are invited to join us

    at our bi-monthly meeting:

 

We will discuss environmental issues and conservation issues current to
Orange County Residents as well as discuss the various hikes and other
activities being presented in Orange County in the near future.  Glenn
Pascall, Chair of the Sierra Club Task Force on San Onofre, will provide an
update on the San Onofre NGS Status will special attention to recent action
regarding the disposal of nuclear fuel rods and the decommissioned Nuclear
Generating Station

 

PROGRAM:    TRAVEL ADVENTURES WITH THE SIERRA CLUB:  We will have a panel of
three of our most experienced Travel Adventure Leaders who will share with
you the ins and outs of Travel Adventures, answer your questions and share
with you their plans to lead new Travel Adventures this year.  Panel
consists of Ed Mauer, who specializes in Adventures in Europe, Donna Specht,
who specializes in exotic places like Costa Rica, Alaska, Iceland, Ecuador,
etc. and Mike Sappingfield, who specializes in Adventures in the United
States.

 DIRECTIONS: 

Northbound on I-5, exit at La Paz, turn right onto La Paz, cross Marguerite
Parkway and proceed over Oso Creek.  Turn left onto Veterans Way and drive
to the Murray Center Parking lot.

 

Southbound on I-5, exit at La Paz, turn left onto La Paz,  cross Marguerite
Parkway and Oso Creek.  Turn left onto Veterans Way and drive to the Murray
Center Parking Lot
