Attached is the latest Newsletter for the Sierra Sage of South Orange County
Group of the Sierra Club. Two key items of interest. No. 1. There is a
Coastal Commission Hearing in Santa Monica on January 8th regarding a
development in Laguna Beach which could kill the long promised trail
connection from Aliso Creek Beach Park and the Aliso/Wood Canyon Regional
Park. This is the "Trail from the Sea to the Mountains that we have been
trying to get for at least 25 years. Anyone who could go to the hearing in
Santa Monica on Jan 8th would be a big help.

No.2 Our annual Chili Cookoff and Open House will be held at the Norman
Murray Center in Mission Viejo on January 27th, at 7:00 pm. All are
invited.
