GENETICALLY MODIFIED CORN: You Heard it Here First
Imagine the surprise of Joan Hamilton (Editor in Chief, Sierra Magazine)
when she opened the New York Times this morning. In the Health section, a
Times reporter documented how the Mexican government has discovered that
some of the country's native corn varieties are been contaminated with
genetically engineered DNA.
Seems like this go around the Times was a little late on the draw. Sierra
Magazine covered the same subject in an article called, "Tinkering With the
Tortilla" in the September/October issue.
