Subject: call Kraft on Thursday, Nov 8

Sierra Club is targeting Kraft and requesting Kraft to move to genetically
engineered (GE) free production.

We are pleased that several other major groups (Friends of the Earth,
Organic Consumers Association, Public Interest Research Groups, National
Environmental Trust, Institute for Agriculture & Trade Policy, Pesticide
Action Network North America and the The Center for Food Safety) are now
targeting Kraft, as well.

These groups have asked Sierra Clubbers to join their day of action this
Thursday, Nov 8, by calling Kraft.

If you have not already contacted Kraft, you are welcome to help.
Call Kraft Foods at 1-800-323-0768, 9:00 a.m. - 8 p.m., EST.

Talking points:

For our health and the environment, I'm asking you to move to
genetically engineered (GE) free production. Transgenic crops, crops which
have been genetically manipulated with viral, bacterial, and animal genes,
pose risks and shouldn't be in our food supply until better tested and
clearly labeled. Dairy products made with milk from cows injected with
the genetically engineered bovine growth hormone (r-BGH) may promote
cancers of the breast, colon and prostate.

If you have any questions about our campaign, please email me at
