Francis Thicke as Iowa Sec of Ag would be a game-changer.  Frances would have influence over the subsidies and how they are spent.  And he would have a bully pulpit and even a national voice.  But, (since I'm already being cynical this morning...)   I believe neither party will give Francis much support if he gets in.  

Campaign finance reform should be a number 1 priority?  Single out the worst of the bought-and-paid-for Dems and put them in the spotlight?  Then the next Dem?
