We're looking for a few good Iowans.

We need your help to recruit dedicated Iowans to serve on state boards and
commissions.  Iowa has nearly 200 state boards and commissions that help
state government develop public policy, maintain public oversight and
licensing standards for various professions and industries, and ensure
government openness and responsiveness to the public we serve.

Iowa's citizens offer considerable experience and expertise in a wide range
of fields.  Their dedication and enthusiasm creates greater innovation and
efficiency in state government services to Iowans.  All Iowans from all
parts of the state are welcome to apply.  We are committed to balancing
membership by gender and political affiliation while working to increase the
cultural and geographical diversity of the boards and commissions as
opportunities become available.

If you or someone you know would like to serve on a state board or
commission, please fill out the attached Gubernatorial Appointments Resume
and mail it back to:
