Friday, March 22nd is the United Nations' World Day for Water.

Join 'Iowa Talks' Live from the Java House in downtown Iowa City at 10 a.m.
for a panel discussion where we'll identify water pollutants, take a look at
the research that is uncovering the effects of these pollutants on humans
and wildlife and a look at environmental policy, present and future.
Joining us will be Dennis Keeney, executive board member of the Iowa
Environmental Council; Pete Weyer, director of the UI Center for Health
Effects of Environmental Contamination; Peggy Murdock, a Sierra Club Iowa
State Chapter Executive Committee member who works on water quality issues;
and we'll also be joined by a member of the Iowa DNR's Water Bureau.
Nancy Hagen hosts at 10 am. on 910 AM, WSUI Radio - your local NPR
affiliate.
