The POPs/Toxics Forum will share information about the Persistent
Organic Pollutants (POPs) Treaty and related toxics issues so that
Sierra Club members can participate in efforts to get the treaty
ratified. Another purpose is to share strategies for creating
international, federal and state programs to implement provisions
of the treaty and expand upon its goals.  For this reason we encourage
the sharing of information about dioxins/furans,PCBs, pesticides,
and persistent, bioaccumulative toxics.
