In the House ask your representative to vote for
HR2538
which transfers $17.5 million from the Rebuild Iowa
Infrastructure Fund(RIIF) to the Environment First
Fund
In the Senate ask your senator to vote for SF2271
which
mandates that utilities to purchase 10% renewables by
2007,15% by 2009 and purchase 20% renewables by 2021
Ask them to strengthen the bill by rquiring rural
co-operatives to do the same and by adding energy
conservation measures.
