Subject: Fears over Roundup herbicide residues prompt private testing

Our government won't test for Roundup residues, despiteMonsanto's Roundup being sprayed on millions of Roundup Ready crops,so it's up to us to test for residues on our own !!!

Fears over Roundup herbicide residues promptprivate testing
(clip)
U.S. consumer groups, scientists and foodcompanies are testing substances ranging from breakfast cereal tobreast milk for residues of the world's most widely used herbicide onrising concerns over its possible links to disease. The focus is onglyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup. Testing has increased inthe last two years, but scientists say requests spiked after a WorldHealth Organization research unit said last month it was classifyingglyphosate as "probably carcinogenic tohumans."

The USDA avoids testing for Glyphosate residues on foods, claiming that such tests are too costly and impractical.
