Almost the entire cover article on Wind in Sierra Magazine March/April describes Iowa's successes. Don't miss it. The set of articles on wind has great talking points. You will want to carry a copy along with you to meetings.
David Osterberg is mentioned, however it does not appear the writers/researchers interviewed anyone from the Iowa Chapter. The Nebraska Chapter is almost mentioned.
Let me also urge you to read the cover story on Fracking in the March issue of National Geographic. While it suffers from the writer's attention to a single woman trucker, it covers diverse issues and mentions most of the problems. I learned that my own efforts to push the Missouri River Recovery committee to look into fracking's effect on the endangered pallid sturgeon is quite justified. Most of the activity is found along the Missouri in the reach of the river where pallid recovery is possible.
Jim Redmond
