support the KUHN/FREVERT bill (HSB 267).

 

CAFO industry lobbyists are sounding an alarm, claiming

this bill will ruin the livestock industry in Iowa.

 

Hogwash. This bill simply creates larger separation

distances between a CAFO and your house, your church, or

the river or lake where you like to fish and swim.

 

Right now, less than 1% of Iowans own

CAFOs - and they have ALL the rights. This

bill will give SOME protection to the other

99% of us who have none.

 

 

As Speaker of the House, Pat Murphy

can make sure that this bill comes to

the floor for a full house vote.
