Also interesting IFB is legislating against regulations right after the
massive egg recall:  HSUS uncovered egregious cruelty to chickens and
investigations are uncovering massive pollution and horrific conditions
in the feed production.  I've exposed the Clarke County Farm Bureau an
number of times with letters to the Osceola Sentinel.  We really need to
get out the vote and elect Francis Thicke among others.  Rich Leopold
wrote an excellent Op-ed which appeared in today's DM Register.  Phyllis


Attached is an article about the Iowa Farm Bureau's legislative
priorities. Especially interesting is the suggestion that the EPC should
be dissolved and the Legislature be in charge of enviornmental
regulation.
