Bill--I think the bikers are not in Brown's Woods, at least not in numbers.
When Ben Van Gundy was still director of the PCCB, he arranged for them to
have a trail in the bottomland along the Des Moines River.

However, the mountain bikers have really taken a liking to Ashworth Park.

Jo Hudson has done a huge job of trying to control or at least get a handle
on the garlic mustard at Ashworth. But I think it is a losing battle unless
the city decides to take some action on it.

Sounds like some very nice hiking. Which reminds me: how are things at
Brown's Woods? Have they been able to keep out the dirt bikers, trail
bikers, et al?
