The Iowa Environmental Council cordially invites you to “march forth on March
4th”at IEC's annual lobby day at the legislature. We will kick off the day at
a 10 AM press conference on the 1st floor Capitol Rotunda, east wing.
Council members and supporters will lobby legislators on key issues just
after the 10AM press conference and throughout the day, until 4 PM.
Coffee, juice and healthy snacks will be provided during the day to keep your
spirits up.
TheCouncil’s issues, which were published in the Winter 2003 “Iowa
Environment”include the amendment of Iowa’s “credible data” law, a
renewable energy standard of 10% by the year 2010 with adequate funding for
conservation and the environment.
