NEW LONDON - The DNR is investigating a fish kill northeast of New London in Des Moines County.

DNR staff responded to a report of dead crayfish in Flint Creek on Tuesday evening, but had not found any dead fish by 8:45 p.m.

On Wednesday morning, DNR staff found numerous dead fish. The DNR took water samples to identify possible pollutants responsible for the fish kill.

The DNR will conduct a fish kill count and continue to investigate the source of the fish kill.
