A similar conference was held in November of 2001 in Des Moines and it was
very worthwhile.

The University of Iowa Environmental Health Sciences Research Center is
sponsoring a conference on March 29, 2004 in Iowa City.

The conference is titled: Environmental Health Impacts of CAFOs:
Anticipating Hazards - Search for Solutions." It will cover Air Quality
Issues; Water Quality Issues; Emergences of Antibiotic Resistant Organisms;
Community Health Issues; Policy and Regulation.
