The Michael Fields Agricultural Institute is sponsoring the 12th Annual Urban-Rural Food System Conference November 12-14 at East Troy, WI. "Celebrating Diversity: The Key to Healthy Farms, Food and Families" will feature keynote speaking Patrick Martins, co-founder of Slow Food USA.
The conference also features workshops and tours, a farmers market and silent auction, winter soup cook-off, harvest dinner and barn dance, chefs-farmers banquet (5-course meal) and exhibitors and book sales.
