Water quality enthusiasts!!

IOWATER monitoring training workshops for this spring are filling up fast,
so if you're interested in learning how to collect physical and chemical
water quality data that can be entered into the state's growing database and
put to use protecting our waterways, sign up today! The workshops in Ames
and Johnston have openings:

April 16-17 in Johnston - contact Steve Witmer at 515-727-7765

April 30-May 1 in Ames - contact Jerry Keys at 515-232-2516

These trainings are $25 and are followed by optional advanced workshops
which cost an additional $10. You will leave the training with your own
monitoring kit and can monitor whenever, wherever you want.

Additional workshops in Fairfield, the Quad Cities, Northwood, Clarion,
Burlington, Lewis and Oxford may have openings. For contacts, visit
http://www.iowater.net/Workshops/workshops2004.htm
