Good morning Sierra Colleagues & Friends:

I was chagrined I could not attend ExComm yesterday. Wednesday morning last
week, the day before mortgage closing I spent 5 hours in the ER with my
second Kidney Stone.....and have not passed it yet, although finally
yesterday and today the pain is subsiding as it is moving Œsouth¹. Had to do
final preparations for the mortgage closing and the garage sale, Friday and
Saturday, while on narcotics and in great pain, with the great help of Judy
and friends. Exhausted by the end of that!

I hope it finishes very soon. Also had to miss a long time friend¹s
retirement.

I have needed to tell you also...that Judy and I have purchased a
townhouse...we got possession on Thursday. And had a garage sale on
Saturday...which we had advertised for a week. And will be in moving
transition over the next few weeks.

And...we are being married...in California at the Whale Watch Inn, on the
coast 40 miles south of Mendocino, 140 miles or so north of San Francisco,
in mid-September, with just 2 friends as witnesses and a pastor Judy knows
in San Diego. Then later we will have a big reception/party for family and
friends. All in all, designed not to get so frantic with planning and
details!

I remain excited to work with Charlie in fashioning a fundraising strategy
and plan for implementation over the next time period, as well.

So far we do not know what changes we might need to make with telephones or
email, so just continue with those as currently, and I hope we do not have
to change those. Cell phone will not change, I am certain.

My final Board Report will be in your email in the next day or so with all
of the final Governor¹s actions.
