Great letter, Phyllis!

I learned recently that the family of Jon Huntsman, a minor presidential
candidate (R-Utah), sponsors a foundation to cure cancer.

Meanwhile, Huntsman's father made billions by inventing and producing the
styrofoam plastic "clamshell" boxes formerly used to package McDonalds
hamburgers and Filet-o'-fish sandwiches. Environmentalist pressure eventually
forced McDonalds to abandon styrofoam. We'll never know how many cancers
were caused by the manufacture and use of all that styrofoam. Not to mention
how much of it is now floating in the ocean, and how much ozone-depleting,
global-warming gases were emitted.

Tom
