The IOWATER training in Springbrook last weekend was through, covering
chemical testing, macroinvertebrate sampling, water flow and habitat
assessment. We heard from other Iowans throughout the state who have been
involved in water quality monitoring for some time.

The next session will take place in October. This is a place where you can
meet other Iowans interested in water quality. I met people from two
different groups who were already working in my area.

To learn more or to register for IOWATER training contact the
IOWATER program director at [log in to unmask] .
