The documentary film "The Corporation" will be shown October 1 - 7 at the
Fleur Cinema, 4545 Fleur Drive in Des Moines. This film, in the vein of
"Fahrenheit 9/11," exposes the way that corporations are exercising power
across national borders to obfuscate the democratic process here and
abroad. It is being promoted by the Iowa chapter of Women's International
League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).
