This is all very frustrating to read.  To be blunt, are the Democrats and/or 
national conservation organizations starting yet to play catchup?  I hope to 
live to see the day when all political parties are vying to be best on the 
environment, but that sure isn't what's happening now.  If research on "framing" 
is what it takes to be effective, I sure hope money is being spent on that.  
I'm very partial to facts and programs, myself, and don't like spin.    But at 
this low political point, I'd be willing to chant "protecting America's 
grandeur," "poison-free cities," and every other mantra that I was told to keep 
repeating, if doing that would help.
