The following are the Bills Of Interest introduced through the end of last
week. Bills continue to be pretty slow getting drafted and introduced this
year.
The most significant news last week was subcommittees beginning to look at
specific issues relating to CAFOs and energy, although not actions or
decisions as yet.
Today also, the Governor delivers his Budget Message and reveals his budget
proposal for FY 08. That can be viewed, I believe, on IPTV at 10 am. Then we
will get an idea of his priorities for natural resources and energy, in
particular.
