The Iowa Chapter is looking for volunteers for the
2004 State Legislation commitee. Members of the
committtee would be required to attend a one hour
meeting prior to the Feb/March Chapter ExCom meeting
to prescreen introduced legislation. They would also
propose Action Alerts and prepare proposals for I-Call
alerts. Finally they would help decide which votes are
included in the legislative scorecard.
Also the committee needs proposals for legislation and
possible representatives who might introduce it for
us.
We need to do this in the next few months so it can be
introduced in Jan.
