Are you interested in your local parks, trails and water quality? Then come
take part in the state’s premiere outdoor recreation and conservation
funding program – Resource Enhancement And Protection (REAP) – at your
regional meeting.
Residents who live in the following counties: Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Marion,
Polk, Story and Warren are invited to the REAP Assembly for our Region. This
meeting is open to the public, and your input is important.
When: Wednesday, November 13th
Time: 6:00 p.m. – REAP Open House
6:30-8 p.m. – REAP Assembly
Where: West Des Moines
Raccoon River Park Lodge
For 24 years, REAP has funded nearly $300 million projects for cities,
county and state parks, water quality, habitat improvements, roadside
prairies, historical development and conservation education. This is a
great opportunity to learn more about REAP and share your thoughts on how to
make REAP work better.
