Jane,  I just don't know how to respond to this.  It's like arguing with Rush
Limbaugh.  Almost everything in the article is wrong according to all the
scientific facts we have.  I did send a letter to the Editor of the QC TIMES
after the bush announcement. (bush purposely left uncapitalized) stating how
logging increases the risk of fire and that logging companies don't "thin"
forests because they want only the biggest trees.  Anyway thanks for passing
this on to me.  It will come in handy in a presentation.  Jerry
