President Bush will be in Sioux City on Saturday! More than 40 Sierrans have
helped in getting great media coverage of our efforts to highlight the Bush
administration's bad environmental record by holding signs and doing
interviews at Bush-Cheney campaign events over the past few months. Please
help us make Saturday's event a successful follow-on!

Chapter/Group leaders: Please circulate this request to your members, and
help to turn them out. We'd like a lot of folks! And they will have fun!

What:
Protest the administration's environmental record while Bush rallies at
Tyson Event Center in Sioux City.

When:
11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 14th

Where:
Pres. Bush will be speaking "mid-day", approximately 1:00 pm, at Tyson Event
Center, at 401 Gordon Drive, Sioux City.

We will meet at the intersection of Douglas and 6th Street, in front of the
County Courthouse, at 11:30 and we will go as close as we can get from
there, or you can look for Sierra Club signs and banners close to the event
at or after 11:30. We will have signs for you to use.

All addresses mentioned above are right downtown Sioux City.

Message:
Our message will focus on clean air and water, and the need for strong
environmental protections to have strong, healthy communities.
