I said to her this morning, "When you are asked what countries border on  
Turkey you should answer, 'Syria, Iraq, Iran, Armenia, Georgia, and--oh  
yes--don't forget Bulgaria and Greece.' "
 
To which she replied, "I'm not the President, so I don't need to have that  
knowledge."
 
To which I responded, "Honey, this is a democracy, and the President works  
for us; so, as citizens, we need to have more knowledge than the  
President."
 
Under Bush-Cheney it was easy to have more knowledge than the President.  
The problem was convincing the President that he worked for us, not the other 
 way around. Will that also be a problem with President Obama, and  . .  .  
who was that other guy?
