Hello,

Like most of you, I am not in favor of this sport. We all know what the
negatives are. However, without endorsing the sport, we have to recognize
that in some circumstances we might be better off engaging the OHV community
with the goal of mitigating the worst of our concerns, rather than just
opposing "on principle". I don't know enough of the details to judge which
category this project falls into. We probably need to study this to see if
there is an opportunity to engage constructively with Dennis Van Arkel and
Dan Kleen.

Does Sierra Club have an "official policy" specific to OHV's?

Steve
