Tuesday evening, May 25th, Audubon is hosting a special meeting about the
Upper Mississippi River - and you're invited! Please attend an Open House
at the Des Moines Botancial Center from 6:30 - 8:30pm to learn more about
this magnificient waterway and the threats it's currently facing. Bring
your family and friends and learn about the birds and wildlife that call
this special river home and learn what you can do to help ensure this vital
ecosystem is healthy for your children and grandchildren!
The event begins at 6:30 but feel free to drop by anytime! There will be a
presentation at 7:30 but if you can't make it, contact Desiree Groves and
she will make sure you receive all the information via e-mail or regular
mail, your preference! This meeting is designed to inform everyone - from
the novice to the expert and there will be information and action ideas for
everyone - no matter the level of prior experience! So please come on May
25th at the Des Moines Botanical Center, Walsh Room - light refreshments
will be available! (enter on the West side of the building.)
For more information or to let us know you'll be attending, please contact
Desiree Groves directly.
