Erin...I am preparing over the weekend for what we hope is the final push with our City Council re: a leaf burning ban in Cedar Falls.  The meeting is Mon. the 11th, and there is a great deal to coordinate..and it needs to be done over the weekend.

  The Iowa Chapter ExCom will be meeting at 11 AM on Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Glove Factory in Grinnell.  All Sierra Club members are welcome.  I apologize for the double posting, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw this message. 


  Directions to the Glove Factory: 

  The Old Glove Factory address is 733 Broad St.  As you drive in to town from 
  the interstate, move over into the right hand lane.  You will look for a 
  Dairy Queen.  Turn right just after the DQ; I think it's 2nd Ave.  Drive to 
  the second block and look for a driveway into a parking lot on your left. 
  It's in about the middle of the block, as if it once was an alley.  The 
  Glove Factory is the brick building at the north end of the parking 
  lot.  Follow the sidewalk to the east side entrance on Broad st.  Most of 
  the conference rooms are on the left of the entrance, 1/2 story up.
