Jim,
Congratulations for this successful event, and thanks for the clear,
concise account of it.--Tom
================================
Saturday, April 10, saw sunshine and a great turnout for Earth Fest: a free
concert, displays by state and local environemental organizations and
children's activities. WE will try to post pictures on the website and pass
that address along.
Approximately 700-800 people visited the outdoor performance area at
Morningside College in this noon to dusk celebration of the 40th anniversary of
Earth Day ( a little early we know).
Veterans and newcomers to the Ex-Com planned this through the coldest
winter in Siouxland this century and were rewarded with a warm spring day and a
great celebration.
