Winter Solstice Workshop
Mark your calendar for January 10-12:
Nina Leopold Bradley, the daughter of Aldo Leopold, will be a featured
speaker at the Winter Solstice workshop sponsored by the Iowa Conservation
Education Council. With the theme "Leopold Legacy: Conservation Wisdom Past
and Present" there will be great information about Iowa's environmental
history and specifically the contributions of Iowa's famous conservationist,
Aldo Leopold, who played a significant role in working to conserve native
landscapes. All are invited to participate; in particular, teachers and
those who work with youth will find many useful ideas and compatriots. (We
listed an incorrect date for this workshop in our INHF nature calendar, so
please note the correct date.) Watch for details at
<http://www.iowaee.org/wkshops.htm>.
