The National Summit on Agriculture and Rural Life will be held on Saturday,
November 15, 2003 at The Hotel Fort Des Moines * 1000 Walnut Street * Des
Moines, Iowa * 9:00am-4:15pm * November 15, 2003, check-in begins at the
hotel at 8:00am.

The Presidential Candidate Plenary Session, co-sponsored by KUNI Radio will
begin at 1:30 and will feature individual addresses by Senator John Kerry,
Governor Howard Dean, Representative Dennis Kucinich,
Representative Dick Gephardt and Ambassador Carol Mosley Braun.

The Summit has a $30 registration fee, $15 for students, that includes an
all-Iowa lunch. That fee is payable by phone with a Visa or Mastercard or by
credit or cash at the door. Pre-registration is required in order to prepare
for lunch.

Beginning at 9:00am, the morning session will feature workshops with local,
regional and national experts on Rural Development, U.S. agriculture,
environment and trade policy.

Keynote all-Iowa lunch, featuring speaker Mark Ritchie, President of
the Minneapolis based Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy
