That's my point.  Has Sierra Club changed (is changing) its thinking?   
Sustainable consumption is always an issue, of course.  And we  
Americans are especially awful about it.  Here's a great interview of  
Michael Pollan who explains a new ethic about our relationship with  
the land.  From Yale Environment 360, "Michael Pollan on What's Wrong
