point of order - nominations do not need to cease. We often give all of the deserving candidates an award. The award is not a competition. Also, this is the topics listserve and since anybody can be on this listserve we do not discuss sensitive information. I don't mind letting the public know that the Sierra Club Ex Com thinks Jeff was a great public servant but there is always someone as a matter of an open discussion that brings up the other side.
