Dear Sierra Club folk,
I wanted to be sure everyone knew about the meeting for the Cedar Prairie
Group on Tuesday, October 10th at 7:30 pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Cedar
Falls. Before the meeting will be a training on clean energy campaigns and
messaging (see below). Please attend if possible. We need to move forward
with responsibilities for Ex-Com members and other volunteers.
There is a great training for those interested in promoting clean energy
coming up on Tuesday, October 10th in Cedar Falls. ActionMedia, a media
consulting group for nonprofits, and the Cool Cities Campaign of the Sierra Club will
be conducting the training from 4 pm – 7:30 pm (dinner provided) at St. Luke’s
Episcopal Church in Cedar Falls. Topics will include messaging around global
warming and clean energy, and strategy for promoting local investments in
energy efficiency and renewable energy. Attendance is free. Please contact Mark
Kresowik at [log in to unmask] or 319-621-7393 to sign up for the training.
Thanks,
Mark
