Hello all,
Happy Summer, Boji Season is here and finally! If you find time for some up-beat, hopeful, Iowa can save the day, summer reading, please take the time to peruse “Cows Save the Planet: and Other Improbable Ways of Restoring Soil to Heal the Earth” by Judith D. Schwartz (link below).
Did I say hopeful? And fun? We can save the day. Seriously. (BTW: “scientific review” invited among the scientists in this group…..)
Couple thoughts from the book:
— “OXIDIZE LESS, PHOTOSYNTHESIZE MORE”.
— “We need to get beyond the debate on pure climate, and ask what makes the Earth tick? And the answer is: the Carbon Cycle.”
— “We know what needs to be done: Let the animals and nature do more of the work."
Chemical companies aside, do the rest of us see opportunity in Cows Saving the Planet?
