You are misinformed, Mr. Pollock. I lived in Sioux City for 52 years.
Sioux City had all of the major networks, which I watched. I did not watch
Omaha TV, nor could it be received. I read the Sioux City Journal, Wall
Street Journal, New York Times and the Des Moines Register. I never looked
at the Weird Herold. I was always a Grinnell, Iowa and Michigan football
fan and detested the Huskers. You are correct we did send some right wing
wackos to congress such as Latham, but also had Berkely Bedell and Stan
Greigg, and for what it is worth, Fred Grandy.
Robert R. Eidsmoe Sioux City 1947-1999 (except for college, law
school at NYU and US Navy)
Now of Rio Verde, AZ, but still very
much involved with Sioux City
