As part of our Lewis and Clark campaign, we are hoping to get the
National Park Service to help in the preparation of a Comprehensive Plan
for the Loess Hills of Iowa. Rep. Steve King asked for a resolution
from the Iowa Senate inviting the congress to appropriate the money for
the National Park Service to partner with state and local government and
private groups on this Plan.
We owe Senator Steve Warnstadt great appreciation for composing and
championing the resolution. Please read the full resolution in the
attachment.

Now we need the other members of Iowa's congressional delegation to
communicate their support to Rep. King.

Jim

Subject: Re: ACT: Protest The Bush Administration's Environmental Record
Thursday in Des Moines!!

Is the 7th and Locust area anywhere near the route of Bush's motorcade,
or
where he will be speaking? Or will this be another of those "free
speech
zones" that other cities have set up--far from where Bush could see or
hear dissenters?
