Please consider helping Iowa Secretary of Agriculture candidate,
Sierran Francis Thicke, get some national recognition and funding.
Thanks, Donna
Democracy for America, founded by Howard Dean, is a national
organization that endorses progressive candidates. Endorsement by DFA
gives a candidate national visibility and the potential for national
fundraising. DFA will soon be making their next round of candidate
endorsements. Some of the criteria they use to choose candidates
include how progressive the candidate is and how much grassroots
support the candidate has. On the DFA website is a listing of all
candidates (nationally) who are seeking DFA endorsement. Anyone can
get on the DFA website and click on a candidate to show their support.
To vote for Francis, go to www.democracyforamerica.com
On their home page, click on "signup". (Or, if you're like me, you
will already be logged in to the DFA site and can skip this part.)
That will take you to a page with two options. You can sign up via
FaceBook (which is a little easier) on the left side, or just sign in
on the right side of the page. Signing in requires your name, email
address and a password you make up.
When signed in, put your mouse pointer over the “Endorsements” tab on
the upper left. That will cause a dropdown box to appear. Click on
the second box (Current Applicants). That will take you to a page
with all the candidates seeking endorsement. You will see “Thicke for
Agriculture.”
