Cedar River Watershed Coalition Meeting, Friday, February 10, 1:00 p.m.
The Cedar River Watershed Coalition will meet on Friday, February 10,
from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Black Hawk County Conservation Board
offices, 1346 West Airline Highway, near the Waterloo airport. Speakers
include Trudy Wastweet of the Iowa Farm Bureau and Duane Sand of the Iowa
Natural Heritage Foundation on the outlook for the conservation provisions
of the federal farm bill. The Cedar River Watershed Coalition includes
individuals and organizations who want to reduce future flood damage and
improve water quality in the Cedar River watershed.
