1. Hello, the new Sierra Club national magazine lists "good reads" I
would like to put together a listing of books for our own state
newsletter that was made up of good "Iowa" books (or Upper
Midwest books) that those of us have found vital: local writers,
topics .... Please respond with your ideas to [log in to unmask] and
I will compile the list and then submit it to the Sierra newsletter
here in eastern Iowa which then gets included in the state mailing.
2. Secondly, I am curious if anybody would be interested in doing a
nature writing retreat sometime this year if I plan one at a park
setting this year. I have been doing environmental/place
based/nature writing for over ten years and would love to do this if
there is an interest. If you are interested please respond to
