I see the NRC will be taking up the issues of timber sales and dam building.
What do you know about this? It doesn't sound good.

 12. Timber Sales on State Forests. Information/Decision. (Brandrup)
 15. Lake Development Program. Information. (Brandrup)
  19. Lacey Keosauqua Dam Repair. Information. (Hanson)

Wally -- I added the Lake Development Program to the list.

One of the timber sales is for the trees that are in the path of the new
road at the Croton Unit, Shimek State Forest. I sent messages out about
this in June, August and probably October. The gravel road is going to be
straightened and about 1-2 acres of trees will be bulldozed. The DNR is
selling off the trees before the bulldozer gets them. The time to protest
this was months ago.

The other timber sale is for a relatively small sale, but I cannot find the
papers on this so will have to check into it.

It looks like one of the sales is less than $25,000 so it is an information
item rather than a decision item.

I don't know about the Lake Development Program, but this sounds like
planning for future lakes.

The dam at Lacey Keosauqua was leaking and I believe this item is a report
on the repair of an old dam.
