Hello all -
I am not a member of the Arbor Day Foundation - the little I know about them
is that they give away trees to people for their yards...

If there is evidence that they are indeed responsible for inappropriate tree
plantings near or ON preserved prairie plots, they need a BIG wake up call.

Do you have any more information or documentation on this problem? This is
something that must be looked into and changed, if it's true. I would hope a
solution might be as simple as better communication and education between
the various groups involved.
