Spread the word on the hog-lot hearing set in the Amana Colonies

The legislative effort to gather public input on Concentrated Animal Feeding
Operations arrives in Amana this week.

The public hearing will be held Friday, Feb 15 from 7-9 PM, at Old Creamery
Theatre Company.  It is located at 39 38th Avenue, Suite 200, Amana, Iowa.
They can be reached at 319-622-6187.

The hearing is the fourth in a series of meetings with legislators.  Meetings
have been held in Mason City, Elk Horn, and Sioux Center.

The meeting needs public input.  Please pass this information on to your
network of those who might be interested in the issue.

And then, contact your own legislator to express your concerns about the
future of agriculture and the environment and your hopes for significant
legislation addressing the issues.
