I heard that the word is being circulated in the capitol that County Boards
of Supervisors really don't want local control of CAFO siting.  This is
certainly not true in Story County where I live.  When the subject came up
briefly at their last meeting, it was clear they were looking forward to
having that option.

It would be a good idea to ask someone on you county Board of Supervisors
about this and urge them to contact the committee of12 to make sure they
understand that local control is important to them.
