State Senator Bryan Sievers is asking for a recount in Scott and Clinton
County on Friday, but according to our auditor, it is highly unlikely that it will
change the outcome.  Sievers was an up and coming member of the R.
leadership-we should be able to work with Senator elect Frank Woods. Congrats to Black
Hawk and Dubuque Counties-a bright spot in an otherwise dismal day.  Sorry we
couldn't get rid of Jamie Van Fossen-Alan Guard gave a valiant effort.
